On 12/29/10 took a little roadtrip with Sharon and Mark VanScyoc to Rickett’s Glen State Park. Armed with our ice climbing gear we we hiked over one mile into the wilderness and made it to some of the upper falls.
Features:
Glazed over Cayuga Falls looked like another world – about 95% frozen over after a couple weeks of freezing temperatures in Pennsylvania. Some morning sunlight was filtering through the trees to brighten up this winter wonderland.
Canon EOS 60D – 18-55 mm lens with ND filter
HDR/Painterly effect – Photomatix Pro
3 exposures: -2, 0, +2
