At least once each summer and winter we love to visit the Thousand Islands. We’ve always loved boating in this area during the summer, but really love the winter scenery too!

Oooh wooow you have me so excited with this photograph I have been to Boldt Castel twice but never in winter. This is beautiful and it must be so great to see it in winter. Great capture ! !
Hi Sandra!! It was so beautiful so see. The castle is closed during the winter and this was taken with a zoom lens from Alexandria Bay. We go boating there every summer, and have taken two winter trips. It was frigid but beautiful!!

Thanks Misti – we go boating there every summer, but always wanted to visit in the winter. It was a great wintry trip. We also did some cross-country skiing on Wellsley Island.
