I was enjoying the autumn beauty while walking upstream along Kitchen Creek (from Route 118) in search of Ann and Eric…. towards where the Waters Meet at Rickett’s Glen State Park, Benton, Pennsylvania. Taken 10/26/09 – camera on the ground. Rickett’s Glen is located in the northeastern part of Pennsylvania in the Appalachian Mountains.

    I like this POV using the rocks go add depth. I have a couple shots similar one where I focused on the rocks and blurred the water. Not sure if I like them or not.
    And thanks for searching for us, it was getting cold and dark and I only had one PB &J left LOL.

    Setting the camera down everywhere really gave me a different set of pictures on this trip! Next trip I’m packing a flashlight and taking two way radios!!! HA!

    Lori, no one would EVER have a clue that you’ve only been doing this a couple of years unless you (or I, LOL!) told them! You certainly do have a gift, and I love your perspective on so many of your images. Great job with post production too…you really bring life back into what all we photographers know was there but gets lost by the camera.

    And yes, thanks for searching for us (even though we missed each other)! We were happily oblivious! LOL

    LOL I like the flashlight idea, better have a sleeping bag along too! Of course the roaring will probably keep you awake. And I want to confer with Ann, your work is top notch, I would have thought you’d been shooting for years from your work.
