THE HOUSE ON THE LEFT....

After spending the day with some fellow Keystone State group members at Rickett’s Glen, we looked for “The House on the Left” on the way home. This old abandoned place is on Route 487, a rural road near Benton, PA. Taken 10/26/09

I combined two layers – one clear and one out of focus and an airbrush eraser to create this image.

love the textures on this building, and how decrepit it is.
great tonal range too. i would’ve worked on the out of focus parts a bit more though, just align them a little bit more so it’s even thru out on the tree areas
on the upper part, other than that, it’s perfect!! when you said ‘house on the left’
i was wondering if this was the actual house from the movie ? it’s crazy. i’ve been hunting for places like that here in vancouver, but they’re way out of reach.
