Tempest-tossed to me
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!

I finally got a good closeup of the Susquehanna Statue of Liberty! I rode the rapids of the Susquehanna River on a kayak to get my shot. Taken 7/4/09 from the middle of the Susquehanna River near Fort Hunter, Harrisburg, PA
I used photoshop to clone out the ropes that were wrapped around her neck. Natural color and sunlight.

Thank you! I did not have my camera protected – I just held it high when I was in the rapids and prayed I wouldn’t flip the kayak!! Next time I’m planning to buy something to protect it!
