As you might have guessed, horses feature quite heavily in my art! I have always had a love of horses and never tire of painting them.
I had my first baby in May 2008 and struggle to find the time to paint as much as I would like these days!!! Several of my recent works have been produced whilst bouncing a baby on my lap or singing nursery rhymes (very badly) for at least part of the process!
Many of my pieces are drawn in Prismacolor pencils however I increasing find myself moving away from drawing and focusing much more on mastering oil painting… the more I get to grips with them, the more they become my medium of choice.
I am currently working to produce a number of large paintings which I hope to exhibit later in the year, you can follow my progress via my new blog
