'The Long Road'

A way away from furthest shore, I learn what I had known; that which had seen me compromised, come revelation dawned.

The sapphiric soft light of eve, spilt ’pon my empty moments; as rain falls through the luminescence, gentling my frown.

I live perpetuated, it seems; on a different scale. I walk between two worlds, this battle of one draws my patience.

I know this evening tide is set to turn it all around; I must trust to this course without a single shred of doubt. The path I swore to take that night so many years before; to walk the long road through this life, ’til I find my way home.
