Placated.
I’ve always known.
I wait for time to wait.
Thunder tears the night apart
with cold indifference.
The sky tonight she broods like me,
There’s profound truth in rain.
A deeply ancient divine sense;
All truths a-light in time.
Staccato bursts of quicksilver,
to punctuate the nightfall.
Teeth aground; my blood-electric,
a-head my arrival.
I will seize my victory,
I ‘ll take her a’near day.
If any asks whose storm this is;
You tell ‘em that it’s mine.
