Earlier this year (2008), I bought a DSLR as a hobby my wife and I could get in to and enjoy together. Actually bought it on our way through the airport on honeymoon so we could get some “good shots”. Thing is, things haven’t worked out as planned. See, although this was a purchase for both of us, she doesn’t get to use it much (read: at all). I loved the camera, using it, taking photographs and experimenting with photogrpahy so much that I have selfishly hogged it since the day I put the lens on – learning everything I could along the way. So, now I am entering random competitions to try and win another one for her to use.

I have joined RedBubble to learn more, be encouraged to shoot more often and to grow in this art at which I am a beginner in the most ‘beginner’ kind of way. Excited!
All my photography is “first time stuff” at the moment, so helpul hints and comments will be greatly appreciated, including which groups they should probably be in.
