The late day sunshine poured in and left its golden path across the table top. We sat sipping icy cold root beer and talking about the visual feast we had just experienced at Longwood Gardens up the road in Kennett Square. Days end, now at a little eatery called ’Hank’s Place’ in Chadd’s Ford Pennsylvania, we were contemplating the menu amid the sunlight and specials.

I happened to look out the window and see that the golden rays had beautifully illuminated one of the hanging baskets filled with spring flowers that adorns the outside of the restaurant. I couldn’t resist one last shot here, as another memory of the day. I shot right through the screen, the view from my seat at the table.

I enjoyed a spinach and grilled portabello salad with a Balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I can easily recommend it.

But for a tiny smidgen of a crop, no afterwork at all.
