As I was peeking in to the limbs of the pine tree in search of one of my little baby squirrel friends, this Catbird flew to a branch on a nearby tree and surveyed me for several minutes. I was able to get multiple shots of it sitting there, posing, turning and tilting its head for the camera.
This is an unedited shot, straight from the camera.
Is it really called a Catbird? Beautifully clear shot of him:))
I was surprised to find that out too, Felicity… I had heard of them, but didn’t know I had so many in the trees and bushes around the house. And your comment about it being a clear shot? I was in a pretty weird position when I was taking these… for it to come out at all was a blessing! (You would have laughed at me) Thank you… : )
