Bedtime For Masaman
During the course of the day, I have discovered that Masaman is indeed a male. This is how he prefers to rest… and he does durn little of that… so I try to appease him in any way I can. Thanks to all the RedBubblers that have offered some great advice in getting him healthy and strong so that he can live a normal little squirrel life.

fingers still crossed good VERY good to know he’s still ‘kicking’....what a darling little image R. It’s awesome to have people like u out here in the big world who still care about little ones like this
LavenderMoon replied
I’m amazed at how many people can’t see that this life is as valuable as any. It’s one of God’s creatures, and yet, some people think that God only wants them to be kind to certain animals and people, not all of them.
Victoria Sheldon
To cute for words!!! Instant fav!!!
LavenderMoon replied
Oh thank you, Victoria! The poor little thing had a harrowing day…
FelicityB
He was a very lucky little chap to have ended up in your garden, wishing you all the luck in getting him to pull through :))
LavenderMoon replied
Thank you, Felicity… it was as if I was meant to find him there… I have never seen him anywhere near the flower bed before this tragedy.

He’s so beautiful – a really adorable shot. So glad he pulled through … I wonder what he’s dreaming about?
LavenderMoon replied
Just judging from the way he’s been behaving, I’d say he is dreaming of another chance at living outdoors… but he’s just not made for it yet… I think he is beautiful too, Panda.. thank you. : )

You have a wonderful heart, I know it takes lots of work to care for these little critters, but the reward of knowing you helped him is totally worth it!!
LavenderMoon replied
He’s been wearing me out, Jan.. but I think we might be settling in to a kind of ‘routine’... thank you for all of your help. : )
jansnow
You are welcome my friend. There will be 2 “hat/beds” coming; a teeny one for now, and a larger one for later:-) The will go out on Monday. Good luck!
LavenderMoon replied

Carla Jandelle...
SO glad to know he’s feisty still!
a story? can’t remember the name of it…(Butterfly effect?)
about a guy in the way future who signs up to hunt a t-rex in the past. no one is allowed to step off the ‘trail’ or else something will happen…and they’re ONLY allowed to kill the set target.
the guy freaks when the trex shows, steps one foot off…and continues, kills the dino and gets back to his time? only to learn….when he stepped off the path he killed a butterfly. Because of the loss of that one insect…..modern time as he KNEW it? Was changed forever….....humans were like apes…no longer able to communicate or anything.
hence? even the smallest most unlikely thing? has a place and a reason for being
LavenderMoon replied
I agree… although, I have been known to kill pesky insects. I have no room to talk… !!
