Beautiful capture of this wonderful Pinus, the two Pines that make big cones like this are ‘the Big Cone tree,’ and the Korean Pine, not sure which this one is, but it is beautiful

They’re really rather purple, Mel… the photo made them look redder than they appear to the naked eye. Odd, eh?
