For the second time since I joined RedBubble about two months ago, my profile has led people to believe I was a male. I had mentioned my days in Southern California as a truck driver. I completely zoned out on the fact that it is still considered by many, to be a ‘man’s job’... so here I am, changing my profile and clearing things up a bit.

I was what is known in the industry as an ‘LTD’... a lady truck driver. It was all I ever wanted to do. But circumstances changed that and now I have a job that still deals heavily with tractor-trailers, but I no longer DRIVE them for a living and I no longer live in Southern California. I now live in Pennsylvania.

So… as for my photography, it is something I have been doing since I was a teenager. I owned a Minolta XG-1 and swore by it until I was given a new digital camera and a couple of lenses this past Christmas. It was a gift from a life-long friend, arrived on January 9th and literally changed my life.

I still think of myself as an amateur… so I hope you will enjoy my attempts…. and thank you in advance for viewing the gallery I have put together.

Not really.. I just changed the name of the photo of the poppy pod, to better suit the direction the commentary seems to be headed… LavenderMoon~
