I owe my loan company $51,000 right now. I’m within days of going into default and I really can’t do anything about it. I haven’t been able to get a steady full time job to even pay for food and rent. I’m living off of food stamps for food right now and I have no health insurance and my teeth are decaying in my mouth. I live with my boyfriend and hes been helping me pretty much everything. My parents don’t know anything about school loans so they haven’t been of much help. Everytime I call my loan company I always get put on hold for an hour b4 I even get to talk to someone and when I finally get to talk to someone I can’t understand them very well because their English isn’t very good. I don’t even know what I should do about my loans. I don’t know if I should consolidate them or what I should do. I have high rates on 3 of my loans and the rest are at about 7%. If anyone has advice for me let me know, I can def. use it!
