Sunset over Bluff Knoll
Taken from our campsite near the foot of the central gully of the First Arrow. It was a warm night in the mountains and amazing listening to the wind rushing about the shoulders and peaks of the ranges. I thought the weather was blowing in so the next morning we set off at 530am to negotiate the Second and Third Arrows and descent via the North Mirlpunda Track. Such a great journey and this trek is not to be underestimated. No trails are marked and with plenty of loose rock around, you’re definitely watching your footing every step of the way.

the background peak is a highpoint (left that out in the wording accidently)
