crawling across landscapes from here to yesterday
i watched the birds fly south
their wings beating across a sullened sky
oft we are want to disappear, but you disappeared before your time was due
the broken messages left a hint of something that could never be
the dreams i saw in the honesty of your eyes
falling away as you turned your shoulder
the colours bleed into the winter night

we walk away
we turn the leaf of the page
i kick the fallen leaves as my footsteps scuff the pavement
with tingling palms the pain eventually drips to nothing
i hate why you said you were falling in my presence
i despise the emptiness of your menace
awakening as the southern stars shine into the winter night

So gorgeous, those deeps colours that reflect on the sand and water looks really beautiful and love the mirror effect of it, really like this in portrait too, seems to concentrate the beauty of it, it’s full of emotion and power, the words reflect the shot so well, they are really heartfelt and stirring, this is a piece right from your heart and soul
