I’ve got a few shots of this sunset in Darwin, hard to choose the best one, but the fisherman in this one I like, adds magnitude. (to the left if you can’t see him!)

OOH WOW!! what an amazing powerful sky!
The fishermen do look great in there, it’s one of those shots of yours where you have this dash of human element, which really adds to it. A BIG fave for me Laurette, such a magic shot! I’ve nevcer seen a sky like that! ;)

Though it surely has been said quite a bit, I must also add that you have captured an incredible moment with this photo. The color lighting and imagery is both serene and a bit unnerving. This sort of image always reminds me of our humble place in the world—so much beyond our power to control.

it’s those crazy hector-top cumulo nimbus they get in Darwin. Scientists from all over the world fly there to study them, they are most amazing ;))
