Taboche Awe
Taboche Peak 6367m rises majestically from the floor of the valley of the Lobuche Khola River in the Nepalese Himalayas. To the right is Cholatse with her 6335m peak just in the clouds. At the foot of the valley above the village of Pheriche rises the twin peaks of Kangtega 6685m with Thamserku 6608m to her right. The fresh snow fell deep in the valley the night before. These mountains are some of the world’s most famous and the Sagarmatha National Park is their home.

Superb photography Laurette…..........you have captured the third dimension very well here and the b+w conversion has great tonal qualities. A pleasingly proportioned wide crop too that takes it all in..

Thank you so much Wayne for your comments This one was taken with my fisheye lens again, a great tool for capturing the ‘third dimension’ as you justly put it :)
