All your work with this chair in this room…put into series, has a real Duane Michals feel to it…is there a story?..who knows..more like a story coming from the other side..and it gets lost in translation …I feel (for me) the most powerful one thus far with this chair is the hair cut…less is more dangerous and simple more stark, lonely…
There is always a story. It’s all in the sequence. I do not believe I can sequence yet on redbubble but I’ll post pictures of the book when I make it. Accordion binding, I’m thinking so it stays fluid…
I am a ruthless editor – an image can be well seen, well composed, perhaps even beautiful, but if it does add something specific and unique to the series- it gets cut. The story told is the thing. I do not like to repeat myself. :)
