Terrific, it’s so interesting the way your work draws the viewer in to wonder. and I love that you are the viewer that wonders too.

I don’t think you need to tell me anything…. I’ll just take it as it is. I can look at it and see it.
The only bit that is getting me confused is where on earth you got those enormous waders from – they look brand new…

They were my father’s. I asked if I could borrow them and he said I could keep them since they leak.
Fortunately I did not find myself in water.

    Thats brilliant. What incredible tones.

  • laurenrabbit replied

High concentration selenium, it works beautifully or destroys the print. Well worth the gamble.

Might have been handy to have those boots when you visited Melbourne ;-)

  • laurenrabbit replied

I’d pack them next year to go back to Healesville but they’d put me over the weight allowance. I rather wish I had a video camera set up to record me making that shot. The boots are so heavy I had to lift my legs up high and stomp down like Godzilla. And the 10 minutes it took for me to climb onto the table was a slow-mo hysteria which was immediately followed by a spectacular example of cursing when I dropped the cable release and had to climb back down again.
Then I got smart and put the boots on while I was standing on the table which had its’ own aura of menace.
I think that’s why I think my pictures are much more funny than most people do, because I know what an ass I looked like while making them. :D
