I find this completely mesmerizing LR…....is it anguish? depression?
a glimpse of years that go by marked by dates? it’s fantastic….I found myself looking at this forever, then going back to it over again. nice.

It’s always the same cake. I bought that cake at the Safeway in 2006 and keep it in the freezer, taking it out once a year for an hour or two.

What is it you are holding on to so hard in that fist, I wonder?
Now that I’ve finally seen your images in real life, I feel like I can appreciate much better on the comuter screen what this is REALLY like…

Beautiful image Lauren..but such a sad refrain. I relate so much to how you feel as my daughter Lauren also celebrated her birthday recently thousands of kms away and due to her physical and mental problems felt the same, even though a few people did turn up, she was still so alone…I do hope your next birthday is not so lonely…Happy Birthday Lauren…

  • laurenrabbit replied

Not so sad. Things are what they are and I have been in alone in these rooms for years now. Happy birthday to your daughter.
