It’s 20×24 inches folded. An old scrap book, filled with collages of pictures and newspaper clippings from when I lived in NYC. I hadn’t opened it in years until I thought of it for this image.
I love this image—the way that the book/bed combo suggests a living body and the things that it tells the viewer about the absent body… it’s subtle, elegant… one of my all-time favorites of yours
