Barker With Jack
Taken in the oldest bar in Houston, TX, Barker lifted a hand to shoo Jack out of the photo, but he arose, beautifully, and just in time for this shot. It was a glorious moment, and I am happy it is now here forever. The image was shot on Tri-X 120 film in a Mamiya C330 Medium format camera, and scanned via Canon Pixma.
This is unaltered “as is” photography.

This image is worthy of being hung in a French Art museum next to Degas and Renoir. I mean it. Hugs K

What could I possibly add to all the kudos above, other than to echo them with unbridled enthusiasm. Ah, the old medium format – 120/220 days, with magazine backs – My first was a Mamiya RZ 67 Pro II, then a Contax 645.
It’s such a spontaneous and genuine moment, I can’t say enough good things about it.
