I’m an artist majoring in Deaf Education at Baylor University. I hope to minor in both ASL Interpreting and Art.
My primary media are colored pencil and acrylic paint, but I also enjoy oil paint for its extended drying time and rich buttery texture. I love super intense color, and acrylic tends best to that. I’ve tried many other media though, including sculpture in bronze. People are definitely my favorite subjects. I’ve done many self-portraits; I learn more about myself with every one. The face can tell so much about a person, and I love expressing it through art. I do portraits (as well as other projects) on commission, so send me a message if you’re interested!
