Great shot what system did you use to produce the HDRI ?

I just used Photoshop CS2, but it’s not just like a regular HDRI. Instead of using the program’s automatic function, I opened up 5 differently exposed photos in the same window in CS2 – and then started masking. I spent about 6 hours zoomed in at 600%, masking stuff in and out. Basically, the rocks, ocean, sun, lower sky and upper sky are all different photos – just masked together.

Took me a crapload of time, but I think it was worth it. Afterwards, however, I promised myself never to spend that much time in Photoshop again.

I have recently got hooked on hdr and have had thjis shot in my favourites for some time, but I am now looking at it from a different point of view. It is really a stunning shot.
