Homeless
Cat and dog swept in a blanket in a homeless woman’s babytrolley. I asked her for a portrait, but she wasn’t very keen on it – so she let me photograph her little friends instead

Oh Lasse this breaks my heart!! You’ve got a great eye. But at least they’re loved. Thanks for your comments. I responded to your question below your post. Cheers!

Sensational work Lasse. This is a real fave for me. Your b&w work is also extraordinary. Welcome.

Great shot, great colours! The cat doesn’t look particularly concerned, but the dog seems aware of its situation.

ooph… toO Adorable!!!! Love it!! agree with Damian, it so funny in a way, and sad because they are homeless, altho the cat doesn’t seem to mind.

I love the way the colour in the dogs eye matches the shop window lights – even thought they are in contrasting worlds!

Rip, that was my heart being shredded as they say beauty hurts.

I’m glad the homeless lady has such wonderful companions! Very nice photo.

Fantastic portrait- even though you didn’t capture the owner in the photo- it sums up the living conditions of all three- as well as their apparent bond- excellent photo.

Great image!

I really like this shot. Some people are homeless and acquire pets – other people choose to be homeless rather than give up their pets due to landlord restrictions, etc. Best of luck to this little family.

Not every photo is worth a thousand words, but this is worth at least that many, if not more. You make it very easy for us to appreciate the work you do!

I agree that this breaks my heart but it’s clear she cares for them.

The expression on the dogs face looks worried while the cat just sleeps without a care in the world. Nice capture, and I like the back story too.
