It’s been 9 months work, but finally the 1952 Vanguard ute is in reasonable shape.
Specs are -
Standard Vanguard Phase 1A 1952
Colour – matt black
Seating – Saab leather bench seat
Engine – 4.2 litre V8 high comp pistons, cam, Rochester Quadrajet 4 barrel carb with cold air intake
Transmission – 3 speed auto
Diff – Holden 1 tonner
Front suspension – HX Holden with McDonald brothers adjustable top control arm and heavy duty sway bar
Brakes – power assisted ventilated disc front and drum rear
It’s a hoot to drive :)
