Mesilla Mary 5 - New Mexico by

Two feet off the main square, in an out of the way Spot in the wall in Mesilla, NMex, I found this shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe (Spanish: Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe). She is a celebrated Catholic icon of the Virgin Mary also known as the Virgin of Guadalupe (Spanish: Virgen de Guadalupe). A patriotic town, the American flags were probably put there by the families that have members in the service for their safe return.
