An old woman heads home with her groceries at the end of the day in Venice, Italy. I had less then 6 hours to photograph Venice and I wanted to capture something besides the typical canal scene. I spotted a local woman with her groceries as I was crossing one of many small bridge in Venice. I knew she was perfect as a photo subject but I did not want to disturb her. Handling a medium format camera, I knew I did not have enough time to set up my camera and focus as she approached. So, I turned my camera around and composed a shot of an area I knew she was going to enter. I know I captured something nobody has of Venice. Shot with Mamiya 645, ASA 400 film F/11, 30sec
