Loneliness Of A Long-Distance Church
The bell-frame of the quaint and isolated Gunbar Church, dedicated in 1884.
Gunbar is a tiny settlement between Goolgowi and Hay, NSW. The Church is in good repair, and stands literally surrounded by empty paddocks. When visiting this place there is a great sense of history and of bygone days, coupled with a sadness when considering the departure of the population from this remote rural area.
