China Wall #1
An impressive and very unusual natural rock formation exists near Halls Creek, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
This striking white quartz ‘wall’ emerges from the dark red rocky country in several places. It is several metres high at times, and usually a consistent 0.5 to 1 metres wide. It contrasts vividly against the deep red rock and earth of the Pilbara.
