Happy New Year to the group. Hope this is a good shroom year. I’m not really sure what this is, it grows in grassy areas, is very short lived and dissolving into a black liquid. I think they might be Coprinus…..
definately a coprinid….there’s hundreds in this family though so often hard to ID unless you know your microscope intimately…lolgreat image…I LOVE gill shots!
Thanks Carla for commenting and adding Inky to your favorites. I can’t get over how fast they changed. They were on a neighbors lawn, was walking the dog, went home to get camera buy the time I got back the caps were already starting to turn up and turn black.
