Hello and G’day,
To all who have commented on my little obsession with wild birds-thank you. Sorry if I miss replying personally. Frankly I’ve a smidge overwhelmed at the response.
My day job is photojournalism and has been for almost too long. I’ve worked for main stream and specialist print media for almost 40 summers…and equally as many winters. I currently shoot and write travel yarns for a variety of publications in Oz and further afield.
I live and work from home which is Yummy Yamba located on the mouth of the Clarence River on the bucholic Northern Rivers Delta.
I have a fondness for the local wild birds and spend much time photographing them and their habitat. I’ve created a folio of digitally “fiddled with” images that place the critters in their locale.
Stalking wild birds satisfies my latent hunter gathering instincts with out actually having to kill anything in the process.
