Actually yes they were. They were supporting Gyroscope and The Living End so all the photographers only had first three songs to shoot. Lucky for us most of Tame Impala’s songs are rather long, we ended up being able to shoot most of their set. I was fixated on the bassist cause he was the only band member that just looked ‘cool’ all the time and the lights were always hitting him perfectly.
