Realisation. Part 1

Acrylic on Canvas- The first of a triptych I recently painted for the media CD Launch for the “Zounds” album, for Sydney band Dappled Cities. They chose 12 artists each from Sydney and Melbourne, and each artist had a track off the album allocated to them, to which they had to respond in visual art. I havent done anything in acrylic since highschool, but it eliminated some other problems….ie no need to frame, dries quick etc. Hard part was we had 1 month to do it, and this particular month was flat out busy for me so I was painting literally every spare second of every day for a month. Whoa….still recovering. I cannot mention the song it represents until the public launch in August, as it has not yet been released.
