Free spirits defying the global corporate thought police by

Dedicated to the OCCUPY movement, to Julian Assange and Wikileaks, to Anonymous, and to the various groups including Wikipedia who have fought courageously to preserve truth and freedom of human expression on the internet – which is all of ours, not just the greedy property of the 1 percent.

Eco-surrealist artist & poet, presently living in New Zealand. Have also lived/worked in Jamaica and the USA. The new ‘eco-surrealist’ art mixes subconscious dream images of traditional surrealism (e.g. Magritte, De Chirico, Ernst, Dali, Tanguy, Picasso) with contemporary ‘green consciousness’ social activism themes, and nature mysticism approaches to spirituality.

bravo… good to see this great tribute, the only thing that irks about the occupy movement is that we are shown how these people setting up tents in parks etc….and leaving such a mess behind them….hope this is in the minority as it does not do much to promote the movement

  • I agree, these angry, mostly-unemployed youth are messy. I can forgive them though, when i think of the mess of ruined lives the 1 percent have wrought through debt enslavement of millions and foreign oil wars to pump up their obscene profits. These same people now want to control the internet, and censor our ability to communicate with each other freely about what they are doing to us. Viva la resistance!

    When Dali meets Magritte :-)
Love the palette color of this beautiful work !!

  • Yes, I admit it!! I was thinking…if they were alive today, how would Magritte and Dali paint OCCUPY, Assange, and Anonymous? As you know, the surrealists held similar views towards conventional authority.
