Based in Sydney on east coast of Australia since late 2009 after living in the coastal town of Dunsborough in the south west for many years.
Close proximity to the incredibly diverse National Parks of the south west region of Western Australia provided many unique photo opportunities.
The south west region of Western Australia is the only Biodiversity Hotspot in Australia (as listed by Conservation International) with a huge number of endemic species of plants and animals.
Unfortunately, this also means that 70% of the species in the region are already extinct and a majority of the rest of critically endangered.
The Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park is just one of many protected conservation areas in the region and contains a wealth of incredibly spectacular natural wonders for exploration.
Most of my shots portray attempts to capture the glorious and spectacular natural beauty of any area that I visit.
I hope you enjoy the shots.
