This is a translation that I did as part of the Sojie 14 Workshop. The original work is called Garden Variety Siamese by Frannie Moore
Siamese cats were called “Moon diamond" in Siam. Legend has it that they keep away evil spirits and bring good luck to their owners and was often seen around in temples and Royal households.
Siamese cats are are the most social, intelligent and friendly of all cats. They are very talented at communication with humans and very affectionate.

Lana, goodness, where do I begin to describe the beauty I find in this. From the pair’s beautiful, expressive blue eyes, down to their silky Seal Point paws, the Siamese are gorgeous and adorable. I’m enamored with your vase, it’s beautiful detailed decoration, perfect in every way, and the smoothness and shine that gives it that genuine ceramic look. Your stylized plants, an expected pleasure, now, in your works, pull the composition together. It’s a beautiful connection to the translated piece, that you maintained the composition and these triangular shapes. Even the general hues of green, yellow, and orange. I cannot imagine a finer painting of these subjects. I am so honored by your translation, and wowed, once more, by the beauty of your work, Lana. Congratulations!
Dear Frannie, your gorgeous comment really made my day ! You’re just so kind , best wishes, Lana

Lana, I want to +1 this (Google’s like), once you let me know you’ve uploaded the higher resolution. So please do let me know. :)
Yes, I will let you know. My new camera now with my husband. He left this morning and will be back by Friday. This resolution on this image is so low that it would not make a simple card print.
