One of our rescue animals (5 permanent, 7-10 temporary
being fostered at most times) We retreived CiCi from a
feral cat trap. She had two broken legs and other problems
that we needed the vet to take care for the first year.. Now in
wet season we need to bathe her weekly with antiseptic
soap to prevent skin problems. She very afraid of blow dryer
but quite by accident we found that she loves a heater
and will turn all sides including tummy towards the
heater to dry. We collected her when she was about
3 months old and have had her for about 5 years.
She has not grown much due to her early trauma.
We have had many individuals say they would take
her off our hands since we usually have a lot of foster
animals but we would never even consider it.
Pet owners need to be aware of pet overpopulation
as well as animal health issues and see that both
are promptly taken care of
( Vet Care and Spay Neuter Programs).
