In the smallest of small creation rages. The day I fully understand, and it’s clearer in my mind, the image will be sharper. For now it’s still a bit blurry. ;-)

Good one Miguel. A collision and mutual self annihiliation seems imminent. Yes, it’s a momentus time in Physics and for Science in general as one of the basic mysteries of existence has been observed for the first time. I would say that the ramifications of the discovery and even the discovery itself is well beyond the imagination and visualisation of most of the human race, and I note that despite its historical significance as a turning point in our knowledge of the Universe, the media has sadly disregarded the discovery.
The media has carried this discovery but in such a nebulous fashion, that I am starting to believe it is intentional. The less we understand the better we can abdicate its use to those few who will in time harness its power to our detriment. ;-
a beautiful photograph, lamiel.
Thanks so much. :-)
Haha…love the title…lot of ..friction of masses in this one….
Point taken. Compare the coverage of the London Olympics with the coverage of the God Particle discovery. Importance is not pproportional to hours of coverage. But the number of potential paying customers is. The news coverage is an advertisement, nothing less, driven by financial self interest. Paradoxically, and you may have to delve through many layers of logic to realise this: the discovery of the God Particle, and the philosophies that it’s discovery supports, tells use that self interest is what is going to make our species ultimately uncompetitive in the natural order of the Universe created by the action of the God Particle. Self interest is both the reason for our dominance over other species, but also the blind that keeps the possibility of other species’ dominance alive.
love the blur miguel, and the inspiration for this image … well done
