i love it !!!
Thanks for ‘loving’ this capture. :-)
Awesome. Those bow lips kill me. Great clarity in 2/3 eyes. HA
:-)) Thanks, Lisa. Glad you like this portrait. It was captured in a market. When the mother saw me with the camera…she asked to have her baby photographed. I love India..it’s so camera-friendly.
Thanks so much for the feature, Lissie. :-)
Much appreciated, Berns. You mentioned a street photography outing with Ben…that would be so much fun. That could be arranged. :-)) There’s already a couple of Red Bubblers lost in India…but will find them. :-)
Thank you. :-)

Much appreciated feature, Mary.
Love it? I don’t love the object, the Tilaka – I love the capture of the idea that humanity believes that a thumb smudge between the eyes imparts a metaphysical quality of some kind. A small act that somehow gives peace in a harsh world. He probably doesn’t realise yet that the “Tilaka” is on his forehead, which makes this photo priceless…. and remarkably it marks the location of his frontal lobe wherein all the thoughts associated with the Tilaka actually occur.
:superb…couldn’t resist those big beautiful eyes :))
Thanks for featuring these eyes. :-)
