Languishing in the Afternoon Sun by

Portrait photography has never been my strong point but I was really pleased with this shot I caught of a friend of mine.

Taken at Al Qasar hotel, Dubai in the late afternoon sun with my 18 – 55mm lens.

I think Sepia just adds more depth and emotion to the image and I feel I captured the essence of the moment without my subject realising it.

A wonderful candid, emotional portrait…relaxed, full of joy, and sparkle…plenty of character, especially with the surrounds and it has added dimension in Sepia !!

I am in total agreement with your assessment. Excellent candid portrait with beautiful subject, expression, tonality and feel. A wonderful addition to the Art of the Middle East group.

Very nice, and yes the sepia treatment does it very well.
