I got my first camera when I was about ten, a Kodak Brownie. Never took it seriously, though I did like taking ‘arty’ shots.
About 10 years ago got a Minolta SLR but again wasn’t too serious about it. Eventually, got an Olympus C70 digital point and shoot which I still use today.
Then about three years ago took the plunge and got a DSLR. First off the Olympus E 510. Sold that earlier this year and went for the Nikon D300 which I am still learning how to use.
I don’t consider myself a ‘snapper’ now. I like to think of myself as an amatuer photographer who still likes to take arty shots.
Along with photography I love using Photoshop and seeing how I can either enhance images or manipulate them into something completely different.
Previous to joining Redbubble I was a moderator on a learning forum – learning how to use Photoshop, which was very good and I learnt a great deal but sadly the site has now closed.
I am looking forward to spending a lot of time here at Redbubble and making lots of new friends. It is a fantastic site and just wish I had joined sooner.
