It hurts too much to smile
I bend, I break, I’m weak
I’m shut out in denial
But you lift me up
You brush me off
You make me feel adored
Then turn around
Cut me down
and push me to the floor
You make me feel so ugly
but you keep me needing more
Because if I can’t love myself
then at least i’ll still have you
You smother me, surround me
You tell me what to do
So please don’t leave me lonely
I know that we don’t mix
But you’re my love drug, honey
and I still need my fix
