Just another poem written while waiting for him to show up… who knows if he even will…probably not.

he’s gonna show
I say to myself
as I stare out the window
He’s just busy
he doesn’t have time
I tell myself
that everything’s fine
I feel ashamed
I’ve been waiting so long
What do I deserve?
nothing nothing nothing
I check for symptoms
signs that he cares
I watch for his feet
to come down the stairs
once again five minutes
has turned into tomorrow
He “shouldn’t have to”
he says to me
I guess he’s right
it’s just common courtesy
But I don’t have the nerve
to say that tonight
cause’ he’s all that I have
so he’s always right

hmm….the prose is good the message i found annoying…lol…i think he and i would not get along.

yeaaaa haha probably not… sigh still love him though. relationships are just so hard maybe my expectations were too high
