Don't Give Me Flowers
Just a little poem about the common gift that men like to give to women. Not that I absolutely hate getting flowers but I don’t think they require much thought and I’d much rather see them alive.
Also….the flowers in this poem represent dif types of relationships… (needs to be kept alive…ect)

but talk is cheap
and I only want a man
who is there for me
A flower wilts
it’ll droop and die
left flattened in a book
a sentiment to dry
A synthetic rose
has no thorns
while it remains lifeless
in the room it adorns
What good is a flower
out of it’s place?
If it isn’t alive
the beauty escapes

I love the rhyming words.
A flower wilts
it’ll droop and die
left flattened in a book
a sentiment to dry
This is my favorite part, so true. :)
