Mission To Accomplish
I begin with my Dad and Grand-Mama…
The two people in my life who had recognized, inspired and encouraged me to create “a rainbow world of words and colors” while growing up in New York, and who today continue to be my guardian angels throughout the sketching and brainstorming processes. The children and Senior citizens follow as the prime audiences to have inspired my creations one year ago.
Because of my dad and my grand-mama, the children and the Senior citizens all around, I am able, with light effort, to orchestrate a string of words and colors similar to the way a music composer transfers an original piece of music onto a blank music sheet. My primary desire has always been to evoke emotions, dreams and thoughts to the world that would help us live in positive and spiritually healthy ways, realize our immeasurable possibilities and leading us to discover stronger links that bring us closer together in peace, harmony and understanding.
I strongly feel that the ultimate results of my words and art are well defined, sparkling tapestries of expressions and colors. My themes often deal with individual emotions, but are universal and whimsical at the same time.
One of my goals is to tap into necessary topics that inspire our dreams and passions with poetic art, words and visuals.
Whenever someone glimpses (or critiques) my works, I truly believe “the eyes and heart” recognizes that I have created a meticulous string of mixed-media creations that gingerly and vividly convey social concerns, alongside special days and occasions, cornerstone greetings, conversation needlecraft, montages, my-style cork-it creations, poster-style collages, diploma-style beaded or ribbon-tied poetry relating to Friendship and Soul Mates, Romance and Love, Christmas and Heart’s Day, Happy Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, Inspirational and Spiritual, Social and Just Because…Thinking of You et cetera. These outlines are a few of my own style creations and categories.
Although I have only just begun to exhibit my creations, I am hopeful you will find my artwork unique, eye-catching and “cool” enough to purchase and display either as a lifetime home decoration or as a keepsake to someone special that is treasured; while at the same time, appealing to a mix of people of all peer groups.
