I work 12 hours at night 7PM until 7AM in the Transfer Center, which is in an office area……Being the night shift, it is very quiet, and empty. There are only about 4 people in our whole area … Our office is a two person office and we have outdoor access just around the corner about 30 steps away…..This office area and the courtyard outside is part of the oldest area of the hospital….my office and the rest of this hall was the old Emergency Room about 30 years ago…..
To relieve the aching legs and rears from sitting in front of our computers and phones, we sometimes will take a break and walk those 30 or so steps to take a breath of fresh air……....
This courtyard is pretty and pleasant, with a fountain, designed to be seen from the office windows….. a small closed-in area, about 15’ wide and maybe 20’ long with a small concret step with 4 steps leading up and away from the area out into the parking lot……it is very dimly lit because all the offices are closed and dark, except ours and one other…and one very dim light on the outside by the door to the inside….
My office mate, Bill, is a flight nurse who now handles hospital to hospital transfers……He became restless late into the night about 2 weeks ago,around 2AM and walked outside…. to sneak a smoke and stretch……..He had been out about 10 minutes when he came back in a bit wild eyed…..
He had been very relaxed, having his smoke, then heard a noise like a light bulb was about to burn out. He turned in the direction of the slight noise and the bulb was indeed dimming and brightening……then he jumped, thinking he had been busted by security for smoking, startled at seeing a form on the steps moving up toward the parking area and as soon as he registered what he was seeing ……......it was gone!

Sit quietly and relax, speak to the vision, ask them what they want, try to help them if possible, perhaps they are having problems crossing over, perhaps it was a trauma death resulting in the inability to leave this plane. BMail me if you would like to speak further.
