I had one of these! I welded a 360cc Ford truck motor into and set the world land speed record for a hay ride! In 1932, Farmall made the first tractor with a road gear.
It was nick-named Tractorsauraus. I could pass traffic driving into town— it would go as fast as you dare. The only problem was slowing down. All it had were wimpy hand brakes. Tractorsauraus became a legend on hayride night!
Retired work horse. Looks similar in age to a tractor shot in my portfolio. The narrow set track on the front wheels probably dates this one a little earlier than my Fordson shot. That’s an impressive steering rod along the top. Neat shot Ginger.
